I began practicing yoga on a whim in 2010, looking for a workout that wouldn’t hurt my knees. But what I found was so much more. I found my breath. I found balance. I found flexibility. I found strength. I found a quiet space in a loud world. I began a journey to finding me. In 2016, I completed my 200hr YTT with Bella Vita Yoga and began teaching. After a few years I realized I was craving more knowledge, how to lead classes in a trauma informed way, and how to teach to every body that showed up in the room. I then completed a 300hr YTT in yoga therapeutics with The Center for Integrative Yoga Studies in 2020.I began practicing yoga on a whim in 2010, looking for a workout that wouldn’t hurt my knees. My intention as a yoga teacher is to empower people in their yoga practice, reminding them that they are their own best teacher and know their body best. I enjoy teaching strong, powerful practices with a focus on variations and modifications so each person may find their own strength and power. I have a passion for beginner’s yoga, helping new students realize that yoga doesn’t have to be intimidating, that they are in control of their practice, and that yoga can be fun!

My wish is to help you find your breath, your balance, your flexibility, your strength, and your quiet space.
